The gentleman at the counter was very welcoming and asked us if this was our first time there. Then proceeded to ask us what type of food we preferred sweet, savory, or spicy. He also asked us if we had any food allegeries. Then he suggested we trust him to let the kitchen make a dish according to our taste preferences and boy did they not disappoint! I received exactly what I order...something savory and spicy. Would definitely come back again if the great service continues like today

Great food wonderful customer service and a laid back atmosphere. I highly recommend Waffles and Whatnot for that Breakfast, Brunch or Dinner experience that you didn't know you were looking for!

This is the best place in Anchorage for a big breakfast! The waffles are excellent (I recommend the Sinner), the chicken is crispy and delicious, and they make my favorite Mac in town. Definitely worth a stop.

Waffles & WhatNot is the stop for breakfast when in Anchorage, Alaska! I promise you won’t be disappointed. Super friendly staff! Clean restaurant! Great food! Edit.... Came back with my daughter.... Got an omelette

Made us feel right at home, loved the energy of the cashier! Food was absolutely delicious! This is our first breakfast in Anchorage after just moving here and we will be coming back a lot!

We wish we had known about this place sooner! Since it was our first time, they picked one sweet and one savory option for us; it was perfect! The waffles were light and cooked to perfection. My Salty BAYB was packed to the brim with yard bird, bacon, and cheese. Perfect cook on the chicken, too! My husband got a Nutella and banana and Fruity Delight. The fruit was so fresh, and the whipped cream was awesome! The final piece was that we heard a phone order and the order taker asked when the orderer would arrive, instead of telling them when to be here. This made us feel like they cared about having a fresh product on the customer’s schedule, not theirs. A great touch!

I had never been, they picked me something that was both sweet and savory. The chicken tenders were delicious and moist, and the Mac and cheese was great too. No complains on the waffle, the fresh fruit was good. I might’ve chosen a different sauce/topping, but it was a good contrast to the savory parts of breakfast
